Vanessa Alvarez holds a PhD in International Law, a Masters 2 in International Law and an LLM in French and European Law, both from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, and a Masters in Political and Economic Law from Mackenzie University in São Paulo, Brazil. She has developed her career in the defense of human rights, in business law and in criminal business law.
She is the author of Compliance et accords de non-puite au Brésil et en France: la question de l'uniformisation des accords de non-puite, published in Brazil in August 2024.
Before setting up her own firm, she worked as a civil servant in the São Paulo public prosecutor's office and as a lawyer with the Brazilian firms Zanin Martins Avocats and Telesca Avocats in Brasília.
